Glasshouse Rocks, Narooma
Surfing, Glasshouse Rocks, Narooma
Over this 750-metre beach, waves reach an average height of 1.5 metres and has an attached bar which can be cut by approximately 6 waves. Beach break is caused by the rips and bars which makes this beach great to surf on for intermediate to experienced surfers. At the southern end of Surf Beach Narooma, lie the imposing Glasshouse Rocks; a photographer’s dream and recognised by the Geological Society of Australia as dating between 510 and 440 million years old.
